I can't wait to spend some time working on branding. For starters, this blog is in such a basic state of being (I archived what it looks like at the moment for a future chortle). The current platforms I am using are:
- WordPress
- Shopify
- itch.io
- Instagram (◆◆◆◆◆◆◆.◆◆◆ and nofuss.exe)
- Twitter (◆◆◆◆◆◆◆_◆◆◆ and nofuss_exe)
- TikTok (◆◆◆◆◆◆◆.◆◆◆)
I am looking to open up more at some point:
- YouTube
- Patreon
- Discord
- Indeed
- Etsy
- Unity Asset Store
- Blender Market
- Sketchfab
- TurboSquid
Of course, spreading your eggs all over the place isn't the best things to do, although I don't see how uploading my assets in various places can hurt me. I guess I'm more worried about what it will take to maintain a strong presence on the main platforms.
After properly branding and creating a few assets in my style, I intend to enter the gamedev/art community. Humans aren't meant to feel like they can't belong to any community, and no achievement was completely made by an individual. At the very least, they experienced someone else's work and was inspired.
In the meantime, here is my second published project that I finished today. One thing that I will eventually check is if there is a way to embed these things in my blog posts.
