When I woke up today, I found out that something I'm interested in was opening up requests to be a creator 🚀. This flung me into a panic, because now it's not just a self-imposed deadline to finalize my art and create a portfolio/website. Of course I'm annoyed that I didn't feel this urge sooner, but you know what? I'm going to embrace it. Maybe I needed this experience to show me that the issue isn't with my ability, but my self-confidence and motivation.
For my portfolio, I'm going to start with refining my existing artwork in Procreate to be vectorized with Image Trace in Illustrator. Then, I'm going to quickly animate them in a very simple way in AfterEffects. The works I have in mind are:
- Pantone 12-0727 Sunshine
- Happy Watermelon
- song phone backgrounds (added JAN 05, 2022)
In addition, I'm going to polish up some Blender models I made as practice and upload them onto Sketchfab to embed into my website. The works I have in mind are:
- [Cute Car]
- [Space Vending Machine]
- [Schrödinger's Flower]
- onigiri-shaped Pokémon
- floral snake/cat mug
- Pokémon HM albums
- Chinese empress clothing (added JAN 05, 2022)
- dreamscapes (added JAN 05, 2022)
